Role: SAP Consultants (BASIS / FICA)

AMPEC is looking for SAPBASIS& FICA Consultants to join us in an exciting project based in Chennai. The role offers you the opportunity to contribute towards an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects. The role may involve occasional travel to client locations in North America and the Middle East.
We are currently seeking SAP Consultants with 4+ years of experience who will perform the following duties:
- Certified SAP Basis & FICA consultants with experience in delivering timely and quality outputs.
- Should have at least 2 full life cycle implementation experience.
- Experience in compiling requirements related to system configuration and in identifying customizations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks around competing organisation priorities.
- A strong client facing and consulting skill as this opportunity involves extensive stakeholder contact and management.
- Conducting peer reviews with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure consistent quality of work.
- Ability to assist team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions and support on-going projects.
- In-depth Industry/business (Utilities) knowledge and expert level understanding of SAP technologies and methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot/analyse and resolve technical problems, multi-tasker, team player, and reactive to project and client needs.
- Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing project environment while working against deadlines.
SAP BASIS-specific requisite:
- Strong past experience working on upgrades, OS/DB migrations and HANA migration projects.
- Experience in application and SAP BI technology architecture including HANA Live reporting.
- Experience in installation of SAP Fiori components (front-end and back-end).
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Concentration in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering preferred.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator/FICA Consultant.
